This (mis-)led us to think that the outer would be fairly delicate but the shorts still look good as new even after several rides' worth of thrills and spills. Despite the low price these shorts still have an adjustable waistband, a rear stretch panel (which helps prevent embarrassing slippage) and a decent number of pockets - although the lightness of the material means you can't put anything of any weight in them (multitool, mobile phone etc) without having the short legs 'dance' wildly about your thighs as you pedal along. Reducing the number of pockets and charging (even) less for them would make for an even better garment. Overall A bit too far above the knee for some people's tastes and a bit flappy but you can't really fault the price. Look like normal shorts too.
